Meet the Doctors

My name is Dr. Jason Ledford and I’m the founder and owner of Ledford Chiropractic in Calhoun, Ga. I’d like to share a little about myself and also the reasons I am a chiropractor.

I am originally from Rome, GA but now live in Calhoun, GA. My wife, Krista, and I have three daughters who have always lived the chiropractic way. I did my undergraduate studies at Floyd College and Jacksonville State University and completed my doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in 1999.

We opened Ledford Chiropractic in April of 2000 and have never regretted a minute of it. The citizens of Calhoun have blessed us. We have been welcomed with open arms and we continue to grow and meet new people daily.

The focus of our practice is to teach everyone that healthcare and wellness can and will be achieved with consistent, proactive lifestyle changes. Our primary focus is making sure the body can function at the level it was intended. It is my job to clear your nervous system and allow your brain to tell your body to do its job, rehabbing joints and muscles to restore the range of motion and strength nature intended. Our patients range from one-day-old children to ninety-year-old adults. The techniques we use offer us the ability to custom fit your care to your injury. We are a family based practice, which means we believe everyone is a candidate for care. One of our primary goals is to correct any underlying problems in children before they become adults.

We have succeeded in offering a safer, drug free approach to healthcare for the entire family. Our family plans are not limited to pain treatment. We offer a variety of services for your healthcare concerns and goals. Whether you are injured, sick, tired, or just generally concerned about your spine and nervous system, our practice is here to help. We’d love to hear from you. Please give our office a call today to schedule an evaluation.

God bless!

My name is Dr. Catherine Mayberry. I am originally from Rome, GA but currently reside in Calhoun with my husband, Dustin, and our two beautiful daughters. I completed my undergraduate studies at Shorter University, where I graduated with a bachelors in biology (magma cum laude). I then studied at Life University in Marietta, GA where I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree (cum laude).

I joined Ledford Chiropractic in 2012 and made the decision to become full-time in 2013. Having known Dr. Ledford since 2005 and admired his work in the chiropractic profession, I was honored and blessed to have the opportunity to become part of the Ledford Chiropractic family and make a difference in the community. I have grown to know and love the city of Calhoun and it’s community members and enjoy being a part of it both inside the office and through various other volunteer opportunities.

My beliefs are simple- live your life to the fullest and stay as healthy as possible. I believe in holistic and drug free healthcare and the incredible innate intelligence and power of the body. I also believe that chiropractic care is beneficial for people of all ages and all walks of life. Together, we can help your body function at its optimal potential and create a healthier you. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana but have come to know and love Georgia as my adopted home since 2005 when my family and I evacuated from New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I worked in various medical labs on my projected path to medical school (or so I thought) including 3 years at the CDC.  It was during that time that I began to feel quite differently about health and wellness.

Through my own journey, I have come to believe that true health requires a balance of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.  After a trying period that shook my beliefs to their core, I was blessed to meet Drs. Ledford and Mayberry who took me under their wings and helped me reaffirm my understanding of Chiropractic and trust in the body’s ability to heal itself under the right conditions.  I am thankful for the opportunity to combine the knowledge I’ve gained from them with the information I gathered attending countless hours of adjusting seminars outside of the classroom while in Chiropractic school.

My husband, Michael, and I are the proud parents of a wonderfully friendly and rambunctious toddler, Gabriel.  Though I currently live in Acworth, I have come to love Calhoun and thoroughly enjoy my commute as it allows me to continue to learn as I listen to my favorite podcasts and audiobooks about adjusting, Christian life, nutritional supplements, attachment parenting, intermittent fasting, natural child-rearing, reversing metabolic syndromes, and holistic healing.
